Host Location & Dates:
The U13 Playoffs will be hosted in Olds from June 20-22, 2025.
13 Teams or Fewer:
Top 6 teams will compete for the banner.
Remaining teams will play in consolation games.
14 Teams or More:
Top 8 teams will compete for the banner.
Remaining teams will play in consolation games.
Win: 2 points
Tie: 1 point
Loss: 0 points
Goal Differential: Goals For minus Goals Against in playoff games.
Penalty Minutes: Lowest total penalty minutes in playoff games.
If a game ends in a tie:
A 5-minute break will be followed by a 15-minute sudden victory period with a faceoff.
If still tied, teams will take another 5-minute break and repeat the 15-minute sudden victory format until a winner is determined.
All games will follow the ALA Standard Game Length Regulation.
Email Submission:
All game sheets must be scanned and emailed immediately following the game by both the home and away teams to:
Website Entry:
The home team must enter the game sheet on the website immediately after the game.
The visiting team must verify the entry within 30 minutes of game completion.
Hard Copy Submission:
The home team is responsible for dropping off the white copy of the game sheet at the host table in the lobby. Sheets may also be turned in following the game and collected at the end of the day by a CALL representative.

Ball Use:
No balls are allowed in or around the facility except during warm-up and gameplay. Confiscated balls will not be returned. Offending players will be suspended from the next game.
Facility Damage:
Any damage or willful intent to damage property ?may result in the offending club being held financially responsible.
The entire club will be excluded from future CALL games/tournaments until full payment is received.
Offending players may be suspended for the remainder of the playoffs.
Important: Any damages or excessive mess left in the dressing rooms will be charegd to the last team assigned to that dressing room
Zero Tolerance Policy:
Abusive behavior (verbal or physical) from players, coaches, or spectators will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The referee will stop the game (but not the clock if running time).
The home team will be instructed to remove the offender, regardless of team affiliation.
Rink managers and CALL Executive members may also remove fans without referee involvement.
Police may be contacted early if necessary.
Discipline will be swift and without warning. Further sanctions, including suspensions, game forfeits, or removal from the tournament, may be issued at the discretion of the Discipline Committee.
All suspensions issued during playoffs will carry forward to the 2026 season if not fully served.
Roster Requirements:
All teams must play with their regular rosters.
No pickups are allowed without prior approval from the CALL President or, if unavailable, the Executive Director.
Warm-Up Balls:
The home team will supply the warm-up balls.
Minor Officials:
The home team will provide 2 minor officials.
The visiting team will provide 2 minor officials.
Roles include: Scorekeeper, Timekeeper, 30-second timer, and Penalty box attendants.
Maximum of 5 people in the minor officials’ box. NO MINORS
Scorekeepers must indicate Power Play (PP) and Short-Handed (SH) goals.
Teams must assign minor officials prior to the game, and they must be in position at the start of warm-ups.
Teams without the required minor officials will receive a delay of game penalty.
Volunteer officials must remain impartial; inappropriate behavior will be addressed by referees.
Referee Authority:
All decisions made by referees during a game are final.
Delays & Forfeits:
Teams not ready to start or resume play will receive a 2-minute delay of game penalty.
After 5 minutes, the game will be declared a forfeit.
A delay of game in the last 2 minutes of a game will result in a penalty shot for the opposing team. (LC Rule)
